Club of the Week: Environmental Club

Earth is the most beautiful planet, and we all have the pleasure to enjoy it. The environment plays an important role in a peaceful and healthy life; therefore, every individual needs to take part in saving and protecting our environment. To allow for just that, I decided to bring back the Environmental Club to school this year. Students will have the opportunity to discuss ways in which they can improve our planet and contribute their own creative ideas on how to make the school a more eco-friendly environment. Even simple actions, like recycling and not using plastic supplies, make a huge difference. Recycling reduces the need for raw materials and hence preserves the rainforests. Recycling also increases economic security by tapping a domestic source of materials, preventing pollution, and saving energy. Now, imagine what a positive impact we could have on the environment if we just had recycling bins around the school. This is what the Environmental Club is for. The environment really needs our help, so let's act! We are the first generation to know we're destroying the world, and we could be the last that can do anything about it. I highly encourage everyone to join this club!
