Interview a Teacher: Ms. Glasgow on her AP Psychology Course

Abigail Mottahedeh

Across the board, it is undeniable that the AP Psychology class taught by Mrs. Glasgow is a favorite among the students of the 11th and 12th-grade class. In class, students can explore and learn ideas, theories, and methods of the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. The students examine the concepts of psychology through engaging lectures, readings, and discussions. The class is an interactive experience where questions and discussions are always welcome. The topics in this course include social psychology, biopsychology, clinical psychology, and more! These topics may seem difficult to understand, but Mrs. Glasgow is a hardworking and understanding teacher who ensures that each of her students reaches their full potential. When asked why she loves teaching AP Psychology, Mrs. Glasgow stated, “I genuinely love teaching people about what makes us who we are. I think Psychology teaches us what makes us all unique, and how, at the same time, we're all a lot more similar than we think.” Throughout the course, students will cultivate an appreciation for the study of human behavior and mental processes. If students take this course they will also receive Advanced Placement credit or exemption from a college-level psychology course in the future. AP Psychology is an informative and fascinating course that everyone should consider enrolling in.
