NS Student Selected to Receive The STANYS Award

Ms. Chloe Gangjian was selected by the NSHAHS Science Department for the STANYS Outstanding High School Science Student Award. High schools across Nassau county celebrate the achievements of their best and brightest seniors at a formal dinner at the Coral House in Baldwin. This year Mr. David Weinberg and Dr. Samrita Chandhok from North Shore spoke glowingly about Chloe at the ceremony and underscored all she had done in both science and engineering, her many successes in Science Research, her compassion for others and her presidency of the Science Society even throughout Covid. Chloe has accepted admission to Cornell University with a full research scholarship and we wish her a brilliant future!
